In today’s society, communication and constant contact is mandatory. And I for one am not shying down from this aim. I am not afraid to allow you into my life and world to stay totally connected with you. After all, if I cannot communicate with you, then I cannot motivate you to do and be more in your lives….and that is what I am all about around here.

Therefore, I have multiple ways that you can connect and social network with me. The reason I have so many outlets is that I recognized that you might prefer one specific way over another, therefore, I have them all and will allow you to make a selection on what is the best way to network with me.

It doesn’t matter to me which one, two, or all you select; what matters to me is that we connect and communicate. Below is the options that I have available and I look forward to connecting with you.

"In todays society, communication and constant contact is mandatory". I'll be honest with you, Freddie– I am having an internal discussion about whether or not I agree with this statement. I think social networking has some advantages. I like it when and if I choose to use it. However, I'm increasingly dismayed by the societal expectation that each of us must be reachable, even trackable at all times. When I'm out of touch for a bit on social networking sites, or even worse- when I turn my phone off for a day or two (GASP), the reaction I get is unsettling.

I increasingly feel like I need a "valid excuse" for not being reachable, and an anxiety about not being reachable when it was critically important.

I feel that in conjuction with texting, the phone, and now 3G phones– the level of "white-noise" in our lives is simply unsustainable.

    Paul,

I must admit that I rushed that post out because I was working on the layout and not to concerned with the content for the moment. Still, you raise some very interesting points about societies expectations and the level of white noise in our lives. It is getting down right ridiculous. And yes, I agree that I like to be accessible when I want to be accessible. With the number of clients begining to mount and their ever growing expectations, it can be enough to drive you crazy if you are available to them at all times.

Therefore, I am going to revise this post to talk about networking with me, when the both of us feel like it and not make it mandatory. You got me and I can admit when I am in left field as I do not even want to be reachable all the time.

As they say, if you want to improve your importance in someones life, then make your scarce.

    Cheers to you, my friend.
