Quote of the Week: Wisdom

“True wisdom is less presuming than folly.  The wise man doubteth often, and changes his mind;  the fool is obstinate, and doubteth not; he knoweth all things but his own ignorance.”

Simon, this one of my all time favorites ever. And if you keep hanging around here, you will notice that I have a large library of quotes. I just love them, they are so inspiring.

This one hits home for me when I get into a lot of conversations and debates with other people. I have to slow down and remember the fool’s problem. LOL!

    @ Jay
That is a good point and I will be sure to adhere to that. I need to have some script for the search engines anyway. Yeah, I think I will start doing that…at least putting some commentary, maybe not the video. We will see, but I am building.

    Stay tuned!

I think I’m with SuiteJ on using video. How interesting it can be. I don’t recall seeing anyone doing it. It might be a hit, who knows?

Yan – That is interesting and true. I may have to make a move on that one and take into consideration my blog schedule to make it happen. I could add some commentary on why I like the quote and what it does for me.

    Good point.

According to Wikipedia, “Folly is used in the sense of fun or light-heartedness, not in the sense of something ill-advised.”

Dude, I’m printing this right now and hanging it up on my wall!

    No joke!

That’s an awesome quote, and it’s so very true; the fools really do know all things but they’re own ignorance.

Very inspirational Freddie! Thanks for sharing, and I hope to see more of those — I love quotes!
