Quote of the Week: The Chains of Habit

“The chains of habit are generally too small to be felt until they are too strong to be broken.” – Samuel Johnson
Blog Family,
I know you got this message loud and clear. But in case you didn’t, let me make it clear for you. Everyday, every moment you are weaving a wonderful web of the person you are. Subconsciously weaving a masterpiece of existing. But there is an horror to this.
You could be on auto-pilot. Day and day, week and week of not making conscious decisions to do and be more. You could be sleep walking through your life weaving this wonderful web of disaster. Small little insignificant chains that after a certain period of time turn to death traps. Locking you into a life you don’t won’t.
Here are some things I can promise you.
1) Your health may be fine now, but continue neglecting your body, not drinking water and working out…soon it will matter.
2) Your relationships with friends and family may be fine now, but stop returning phone calls, reaching out to stay in touch, and pretty soon it will matter.
3) Your business may be going well, but stop tending to your clients needs, following up to ensure things are done correctly, and pretty soon it will matter.
4) Your blog may be doing well, but stop responding to your community, making them feel welcomed, neglecting marketing, and pretty soon it will matter.
By the way, the actions you take today are crafting the person you will become tomorrow. You have the capacity and power to do and be anything you desire if you are willing to work for it one day at a time.
Put the chains of habit to work for you.

You’re right on it, Freddie. I’ve just been noticing the past few days just how much I’ve pushed off in my attempt to make money online.
There’s quite a bit of it, actually.
