@ Missy - Thanks for the kind words and yes, the bloggers made it all happen. They were/are great!

As for the software to write the ebook in there was a combination. Some of the bloggers used Google Docs/some MS word to submit their portions. Once I received all the material, I transfered them to MS Word to compile the ebook. From there, I imported graphics and used PDF Master to render the PDF of the book.

And GET THAT EBOOK DONE!!!

Glad to hear the ebook went well. And that was a nice round up of bloggers you assembled.

Did you write it in Google Docs? or what did you use.

Thanxs for sharing the tips you used to create yours, i shall bookmark this for future ref. I have one written on paper for about (well too long now to mention) that i need to get on my laptop and FINISH. But it really is alot of work and is taking me forever. I'm not even going to say when it will be done, because i don't want to jinx myself again. I'll just say it is a work in progress and we will leave it at that. lol.

Let me know what software you used to write your ebook in?

Missy.

@ Normal Joe - Looking forward to a Joe twist on this, man. I am sure it will be classic. But it came out great for me, gave me exactly what I wanted and now I am ready to keep running. Big plans coming up for 2009. Let's get it!

@ Ben - Thanks for all your help. You are right, people are selling crap and making money. One of my goals is to build my brand as a person that delivers quality information and I think this ebook is putting me on the right path.

I am very happy with 20+ subs this week. That is excellent for me at this time!

@ Salwa - YYeeeeaaaaahhhhhh Baaaaabyyyy!!! Thanks for signing up and I hope you enjoy the ebook!

Good work with the experiment. It did work out very well and the eBook is really awesome. I mean, some people SELL eBooks of less quality.

Hope it will boost your subscriptions count and 20 is already a good achievement considering you haven't really worked a lot on promotion.

Keep up the good work!

@ Adam - Good question. The ebook has been released for almost a week and I have gotten about 20 subscriptions. This may not sound like a lot to you, but that is a crazy pace around here. My traffic levels are not all that high yet, so I am very pleased with the results.

In addition, I have no idea how to promote an ebook, but am working on learning this process as well. I think once I learn that and build the BlogosphereBigshots.com site as well, more and more subs, email address will begin to roll in.

The email list was something that came later from talking to Normal Joe, but the main purpose was to build subscribers here at FT.com, which is working very well. Thanks for the question!

Freddie,

How many emails have you gotten in your list? I know it is possible to do, but what I want to know is was it worth it? Are you building a list that is going to big large enough to make some money off of?
