Well, Blog Family, this is week one of Goal Setting Sundays. Get excited! It is the begining of a new day in the blogosphere.
A Little Background
Every Sunday for the past 77 weeks, I submit my weekly goals to a small group of dedicated people that also want to do and be more in their lives. This group holds one another accountable to their weekly goals and objectives. Generally, everything is positive and upbead. We try to encourage and motivate one another.
This is a competition amongst those in my group. At the end of a 4 week period, we tally the scores and see who accomplished the most goals. The winner of the month gets 1 crispy dollar from the other participants and all the bragging rights for the month.
It is pretty cool. We have fun with it. And most importantly, we have other people that keep us accountable to what we say it is we desire, our dreams. This is a great system for someone like me because I am a procrastinator at heart, but know that is not the path to the success I desire.
Bringing this idea to my Blog
Ok, enough of the backdrop, why is it here on this blog? Well, I would like to share my weekly goals with the Blog Family to:
1) Show you what my plans are on a weekly basis
2) Get some tips and pointers for you. Insight from the people that ready and watch this site.
3) Hopefully, motivate you to set daily and weekly goals as well to achieve your goals and dreams.
4) If you are feeling saucy, you could share them in the comments section of these post. (We will see!)
Actual Goals for the Week
After the long introduction, let’s get into the first week of goals for this site and the building of it. This is in no particular order, but I will always strive to have a minimum of 5 goals for the week. These will be basic as we are just starting out and there is a lot to cover.
1) Load first motivational video to website
2) Create a Blogroll of bloggers that I read and recommend
3) Post my blogging schedule on the site
4) Create My Blog Log & Technorati Account
5) Get through the first week
That’s it! As they say, and their off! This is going to be a fun undertaking and I am really excited about it. I have so many ideas for this site. The challenge is going to be putting them on paper and executing the plan. But then again, that is what a lot of this site is going to be about with a focus on showing you what I am doing and helping you do the same.

Our dreams are not something that we should put on the table for later. As far as life is concerned, there is no later and definately no tomorrow. All you have is the present moment. Let’s take that moment and make it happen!
