Blog Family,
Last week was the most productive week I have had on the Internet. No I did not break any earnings records, but it was the best week I have had by far.
Thank you to many of the ninjas of the Blogosphere, I learned a lot and accomplished a lot. My goals for the week were easily accomplished as the week went on.
This past week was validation for me that success breeds success. Each accomplishment fed my desire to accomplish more. My RSS subscribers tripled last week, participation on the blog when up as well. The killer was I had a 3.01% bounce rate over the last week, crazy! How did it happen? Not really sure, but I changed my theme, posted 5 straight days, and had my post ready before the week began. Got a strong feeling this is going to carry over to the up and coming week. You better believe I am writing and preparing before the week starts.
This weeks goals.
Blog Family, I have another ambitious week on the horizon. Can’t lost that momentum, know what I mean? It is happening and I can feel it. Here are my goals I set for this week:
1) Follow up with IM Experiments #1 contributors – If you don’t know, I launched my first Internet Marketing Experiment last week, you can check it out here. This is an experiment where I am creating an ebook with help. The due date for articles is Friday, November 7th. I fully expect to receive all the articles on time, but follow up is important. My plan is to send out an email on Monday to ensure that everything is still on schedule.
2) Work w/ designer for the eBook Cover – Suite J from SuiteJ.com is hooking up the eCover for me. I spoke with him on Friday, sent him an email of my draft and ideas, but will follow up mid-week to ensure everything is happening. By Friday, I want to be collecting articles and beginning the final editing process to launch the book sooner, rather than later. One concern is I haven’t received a confirmation from the person writing the SEO portion of the book or my Affiliate marketing contact. I should have more than enough content, so if one or two sections get cut, it won’t be that big of a deal.
3) Select 6 to 8 main keywords for niche site – My largest niche site has risen to that level despite my non-efforts at building the site. I shouldn’t really be so tough on myself. It is not really non-effort. The problem was a lack of information. However, over the last two months I have learned a tremendous amount of information and am ready to revisit this site and a few others to implement the things that I have learned. This is going to be the first step in that effort. Stay tuned, I will keep you posted on the progress, but the keywords are next. Last week, I put together an ebook for this niche site to give away to my new subscribers. I used a different technique for this one than the IM Experiment, but it was/is effective as well.
4) Develop Site Flip – Ok, Blog Family, the truth is I am not following up and through on this site flip. I think I am a little flip shy or something. Can’t really explain it, but have to just bust through it. I figured that it would be great if I flipped one site a week. That should be a manageable pace and once I get it right could add a few extra thousand a month to my efforts. This would create the slush fund I feel is necessary to make that transition to the next level. All starts this week. As it get closer to completion, maybe I will share the site with you.
5) Set up Website for IM Experiment #2 – That’s right, Blog Family, I have another experiment ready and waiting in the wings. This one is going to be more encompassing that the current experiment, but promises to be very exciting. This will be one of the largest undertakings I will have been involved in, but if all goes according to plan, everyone will benefit. First in the mind, then in reality…and I have seen this in my mind already, time to bring it to you. Stay tuned!
6) Write and deliver two guest post this week. – I was fortunate enough to receive two offers to provide guest posting over the last two weeks. My hesitation was because I wanted to ensure that I could deliver some practical and useful material to these bloggers sites. Well, this is the week that I am going to follow through on that action. Stay tuned and I will let you know when they have been posted on these websites.
Your Future is in Your Control
That is it. Time for another week. I am fired up and excited to kick it off. If you haven’t set your goals for the week, then do so now. It is only going to make you a more focused blogger with the bigger picture in mind while they are pumping out blog post. Your future is in your control. Do the things necessary to take you to the next level.
Thought is possibility! First in the Mind, then in reality!

Sounds like you have had a brilliant week! Wish I could say the same, lol! Very interesting about your IM experiments, I hope that they go well for you, would be really cool to see the results and how they work out for you!

@ Dan – Yeah, last week was awesome. Hopefully, I can duplicate it again and we will making some real progress. Are you setting weekly goals? I found that it really help me focus my energies online.
The IM experiments are really fun and yes, I will be reporting my findings and recommendations if you should give them a shot in your business. 1st update is coming this week.
@ Simon – The week ahead is designed to stretch me out of my comfort zone and continue pushing the envelop. Success lies in the unknown, so I am pushing myself.
