Goal Setting Sunday: Week 13

Greetings Blog Family,

Hope everyone had a great holiday week and weekend. I know it was very eventful here around the Taylor household. We had family in town since last Monday and everyday after they just kept pouring into our home.

It was great as my wife and I love to entertain and have a good time. The number of people here made it a challenge, but we were able to pull it off. The last person left today at about noon. The house is quiet and it seems a bit strange, but welcomed.

Last week

I sucked it up as far as goal attainment is concerned. I truly underestimated the work and involvement I would have entertaining. Therefore, I didn’t get much done. But, family comes first in my business, so I am not mad.

I didn’t post any new flips last week. However, I have two domains purchased and some work completed on them. I will push to get them both posted for sale this week. I am using a new theme that has an element that I am not familiar with yet, so I will have to learn how to get it to work correctly. I am using one of the RevolutionTwo themes, Church, for the first time. The revolving feature articles is the section I am a bit lost about. Luckily, I know a Frog that is skilled with coding and hopefully have a moment to school me on this nuance.

My workout was shot. Too many people in town and too much to do. I didn’t get it done. What can I say? I was able to eat an excessive amount, so now I have more to work off in the coming weeks. Time to get serious about my health and my body.

My niche site is coming along. I have everything up, although I am still awaiting 8 more articles that I purchased. It is running a little long, but I am sure the holiday through the content writers schedule off as well. I cannot be made at him for that. What he has delivered thus far is good, so I won’t hold that against him.

The good news is that my eBook is finished, except for a few tweaks on my end. That should be wrapped up this week. I received the eCover from SuiteJ and it is AWESOME! I am debating on if I should give you a sneak peak yet, but I am going to hold off for a moment. I will release it later this week, but look for the cover or some sort of promotion in the side bar early in the week.

I was able to generate some additional interest in guest posting locations. Bloggers read my goal and offered me a place to post on their sites. That was great and easy. Now I just have to get on top of my posting schedule here and I will be alright.

This Week’s Goals

1) Workout 4 times – Time to jump right back on the horse and get back to work beating this body up. By the time my birthday rolls around, I will be in excellent shape. The reason I want to be in excellent physical shape is because when I am the rest of my life and business seems to run better. I guess when you feel better, you do better. Lookout Bally’s here I come!

2) Post 2 Site Flips – Time to focus and make this happen. I wasn’t able to post one last week, so I have to make up. I thought I wanted to do three at the same time, but a step up to two this week is great. Once I can work this system out, the push will be on to create two flips a week. This is more conducive to reaching my income goals from flipping. I have decided that I want to pay the mortgage in January 09 from flipping sites. My mortgage is $1,400, so there is the goal for the month.

3) Launch eBook: Learn from the Next BLOGOSPHERE BIGSHOTS Before They Blow Up! - Got to love that title if nothing else. But, judging from the content, I got a feeling that you are going to like a great deal more. The cover is awesome, the content is useful, and the impact will do help you in your quest to become a full time Internet Marketer, blogger, and business owner.

4) Develop My Blogging Plan – It has been about three months since I started blogging more on a serious basis and began learning more and more about this business. Therefore, I think it is about time that I revisit my overall plan and make some adjustments. I need to find out where I have I been successful and where I can make some changes in order to start moving in the right direction.

I have learned so much over the course of the last few months, that I am certain my plan is outdated. Time to upgrade it and get back to where I am moving in the right direction. I love planning as I know they secret is getting something on paper and in front of you so you can make the necessary changes to make it happen. This is my aim and it will come to pass.

I almost forgot, I changed my header. What do you think?

Kids, please stay away! The header is “too fierce”….no just kidding. Is that you, buddy? In the impersonal world of blogging, your photo makes it more personal if you ask me.

Anyway, glad to see that the ebook is ready to be rolled out soon. I’m excited to see who the other 12 big shots are. Oh ya, nice title indeed. I love it.

@ Yan – I am a fierce person, so the header fits. LOL! Glad you like it. Yes, that is me. I wanted something different and think I may have found it.

Yes, the ebook is finally ready. Ok, most of the delay was my fault, but I am finally getting out of the way of this project. The other bloggers are outstanding, but #14 is going to take you by surprise. I think it is a great concept.

@ Your Emergency Plan – First of all, I love your domain name. That is an awesome idea. Good luck with that.

Glad you are feeling the header. I was sitting at my desk when the idea hit me, so I grabbed my camera and took some pics. This one worked for me.

Wow intense header, I’m kind of scared… As I’m reading your posts, I feel like your watching me… That’s quite a list of goals, an ebook and two site flips should be quite a bit of work. I look forward to seeing your results.

@ Nota – Yes, Ol’ Big Head knocked it out of the park and is forcing me to step my game up. Can’t put out a great ebook like this and not have my blog in order. We are getting there slowly, but surely!
